Brain storming to build a new central sports complex started in 2004 when community members in Bridgewater, Fontanelle and Greenfield got together and decided it was time for an update.  The City of Greenfield tried to get a $185,000 Community Attraction and Tourism Grant, also know as CAT. They got it.
